Voice Lessons

Our dedicated and experienced vocal instructors will teach the fundamentals of vocal development appropriate to the student’s grade level, select enjoyable and fun pieces with each student, and so much more!
Brava Academy offers voice lessons for all ages (4+), all levels, and all genres.
Lesson Details:
Schedule: Lessons are booked by selecting an ongoing lesson time with our front desk. We offer lessons Monday-Saturday on a weekly basis, excluding select holidays.
Class Size: Private lessons are always one on one.
Class Length: We offer 30 and 60 minute classes.
Fall Semester: September-December
Winter Semester: January-June
Summer Semester: July-August
Levels Offered: Beginner to Advanced
Certification (Optional): Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Preparatory – ARCT
Cost: $126/month for weekly 30 minute lessons.*
Parents can observe their child’s voice lessons, should they wish. All of our lesson rooms feature transparent glass doors that can be seen into from the hallways. Classes are once per week (excluding select holidays) and take place at our Academy location at 2591 Howard Avenue in Windsor.
*Please note that a $25/student, $40/family registration fee will apply to your first payment. This fee is applied to students enrolling in lessons in September-May, and is re-billed each September.

Singing lessons are customizable, and voice students are prepared for Royal Conservatory of Music examinations should they wish. Performance opportunities are provided through our bi-annual recital events and community partnerships.
When you walk through our doors, you are treated like family. Voice lessons are taught in a warm and professional environment while you have the option to sit in on the lesson, hangout in our lobby, or or make use of any of the surrounding amenities such as Freshco, Shoppers, Tim Hortons, or local parks.

Our primary goal at Brava Academy of Music is to cultivate a love and appreciation for music in all our students. When you enrol your child in voice lessons at Brava Academy in Windsor, they are embarking on a musical journey of a lifetime.
We teach voice students techniques that allow them to adapt to any genre and style - whether they want to be a superstar one day, or just want to sing better around the house. Our vocal lesson curriculum adapts to your child’s needs, and will help expand their vocal range and push their musical boundaries.
We prepare students to learn the language of music and become skillful and professional musicians. We also prepare learners to advance through the Royal Conservatory of Music levels should they chose to. Voice students will have the opportunity to compete in local competitions and perform in our beautiful recitals.
Brava’s curriculum is uniquely designed to assist our voice students.
Brava Academy’s curriculum applies a holistic approach to our private instrumental lessons, as well as many of our group classes and camps. Our curriculum integrates requirements standardized by the Royal Conservatory of Music, such as technical preparedness, ear training, memorization of pieces, etc, into lessons which foster a love and deep understanding of music.
Our curriculum separates theory instruction from private instrument study, because we believe in maximizing the instruction time that our students receive on their chosen instrument. Unlike other music schools, we believe that splitting half an hour of instruction time between theory instruction and instrument instruction does the student a disservice. We offer a separate range of classroom style theory courses, in line with the RCM standard, to our students to ensure that their instrumental education and theory education are both maximized.

Vocal lessons are popular with adults at our school for good reason. Whether you want to train the voice you already have, or just want to learn how to sing well enough for your friends to tolerate - our qualified instructors will teach you the techniques you will need to succeed.
The goals and challenges of adult learners are different from our younger learners. Brava Academy currently has many adult students and your lessons are tailored to meet your unique needs and learning styles.
We provide performance/audition coaching and accompanying!
If you’re a performer in need of audition or performance coaching, our experienced and qualified instructors and accompanists are available for coaching sessions. In just a few rehearsal sessions with our coaches, you will be prepared for callbacks and auditions and ready to hit the stage.
